  • Design and implementation of fibre-optic extensions from coastal metro rings to public institutions and access points
  • Trenching, ducting, and fibre routing to schools, health facilities, county offices, and community markets
  • Installation of joint boxes, wall-mount termination enclosures, and powered access cabinets
  • Setup of public Wi-Fi access points, routers, and signal repeaters in high-footfall areas
  • End-to-end testing, OTDR analysis, and commissioning of fibre-fed internet nodes

Status: Completed (2022)

Impact: Delivered fast, reliable internet access to over 100 coastal public zones and digital centers, enhancing e-governance, e-learning, and community access to online services under Kenya’s digital inclusion initiative.

Scope

  • Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and micro-trenching for metro cable routes
  • Pulling and blowing of drop cables to commercial buildings, high-rises, and gated communities
  • Fibre splicing, FTTx configuration, and deployment of GPON systems
  • End-user testing, configuration, and customer support activation

Status: Completed (2021–2023)

Impact: Brought fibre connectivity to over 6,000 homes and offices, supporting high-speed broadband and IPTV for corporate and residential users.
