Scope
- Design and implementation of fibre-optic extensions from coastal metro rings to public institutions and access points
- Trenching, ducting, and fibre routing to schools, health facilities, county offices, and community markets
- Installation of joint boxes, wall-mount termination enclosures, and powered access cabinets
- Setup of public Wi-Fi access points, routers, and signal repeaters in high-footfall areas
- End-to-end testing, OTDR analysis, and commissioning of fibre-fed internet nodes
Status: Completed (2022)
Impact: Delivered fast, reliable internet access to over 100 coastal public zones and digital centers, enhancing e-governance, e-learning, and community access to online services under Kenya’s digital inclusion initiative.
